Virtual EUR & USD Cards Are Now Live on FirstFlip
It's official: FirstFlip's virtual card access has been approved. We're rolling out Virtual EUR and Virtual USD cards to early users — issued through the FirstFlip app at launch. Virtual EUR cards are particularly rare in Nigeria, and we're one of the very few platforms offering them at consumer scale.
How It Works
FirstFlip does not hold your funds. Cards are funded on demand by exchanging your crypto or Naira directly into card credit at the moment you need it. Think of it as a real-time exchange + spend layer, not a wallet that warehouses your money.
- Top up by exchanging BTC, USDT, ETH or Naira at live rate
- Spend instantly on Visa/Mastercard merchants worldwide
- No idle balance, no monthly maintenance fee
- EUR cards work for Schengen visa fees, European subscriptions and EU-only merchants
- USD cards work for Netflix, Spotify, Meta/Google ads, AI tools (OpenAI, Claude, Midjourney)
Why EUR Cards Matter for Nigerians
Most Nigerian fintechs only issue USD virtual cards. EUR cards solve a real, expensive problem:
- Schengen visa fees often require payment in EUR
- European universities charge application & tuition deposits in EUR
- EU-only e-commerce & subscriptions reject USD cards or charge FX premiums
- Freelancers paid in EUR can spend without bouncing through USD conversion twice
Early Access
The app launches soon. Until then, you can request early access directly from our Services page — drop your name, email, and which card you want. We'll email you the moment your access is provisioned at launch.
